How a BOPP Tape Slitter Rewinder Works
A BOPP slitter rewinder unwinds the coated jumbo roll, cuts it lengthwise into narrow webs with its slitting knives, and rewinds each web onto a core to form log rolls. Accurate tension control matters throughout, because uneven tension produces telescoping, loose edges and wasted tape.
Both Goldmann machines use individual pneumatic clutches for tension control and rewind on air expansion or differential shafts, with duplex rewinding. Multiple cutting systems are available depending on the film and the cut quality you need.
GA-SRT: High-Output BOPP Slitting Rewinding Machine
The GA-SRT runs at 250 metres per minute and is designed for minimal changeover and idle time. One shaft stays stationary while the other rewinds, so changeover happens while the machine keeps running. The turret function handles rolls up to 1000 metres or 250 mm diameter, and spiral trim winding collects edge trim neatly.

Choosing Between the GA-SRT and the GA-T3
If your plant runs at high volume and every minute of idle time costs output, the GA-SRT's running changeover and larger roll capacity pay back quickly.
