Slitting adhesive tape is harder than slitting plain film. The web is tacky, tension must stay even across many narrow strips, and the rewound rolls must be tight and clean-edged. Goldmann's machines address this with individual pneumatic clutch tension control, multiple cutting systems and air expansion or differential rewind shafts.
Our slitter rewinders are used to convert BOPP tape, self-adhesive tapes, fabrics and special PE substrates. Trusted by major conglomerates globally, they are built to run continuously with minimal operator input.
For BOPP tape, the GA-SRT and GA-T3 cover working widths from 1000 mm to 2000 mm at speeds of 200 to 250 metres per minute. For other adhesive tapes and substrates, our special purpose slitter rewinders offer working widths from 500 mm to 2050 mm, unwind diameters up to 1000 mm and a choice of unwinding, cutting and rewinding systems.
After slitting, tape is wound into log rolls and cut to size on a log roll slicing machine, or rewound on a log roll rewinder.
