Special purpose machines start from your requirement, not from a catalogue. Typical customisations include chain-conveyor or lifting-arm loading for heavy jumbo rolls, a shaftless unwind with automatic loading and unloading, a separate unwind unit with automatic web alignment, and multiple cutting systems for added flexibility.
Working width ranges from 500 mm to 2050 mm, with unwind and rewind diameters up to 1000 mm or as needed. Rewinding can be on friction, air expansion or differential shafts. Options include laser-guided core positioning, an anti-static device, an edge trim suction system and production telematics. Operation is fully automatic with minimal operator input.
